Did you know that age 16, Lance Armstrong participated in the 'Athens Triathlon' conquering the field and setting a new course record? It was a great race then, attracting up and coming talent and the Athens Triathlon remains a great competition to this day!
Registration is now opened for the 26th Annual Athens Triathlon on March 5th. A 300 meter pool swim, 13.8 mile bike with rolling hills, scenic 5km run mostly flat. Excellent race for first timers.
All contestants are required to wear SPSC approved bicycle helmets.
This is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event and all participants must hold an annual membership or a single day permit. USAT memberships are available at packet pickup only. Memberships are $39.00 per person for an annual membership or $10.00 per person for a one-day permit.

1st Male/Female Masters
Age Groups: 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 5-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
Awards are based on depth of age group on Monday of race week.
