Athens Scuba Park

Averaging between 35’ - 50’ of underwater visibility, there’s no telling what you’ll see in the spring-fed lake at Athens Scuba Park. Novice and expert divers alike enjoy swimming in and around 30+ wrecks that include actor Clint Eastwood’s Film Crew’s triple-decker houseboat (the Take Two), a Lockhead C140 Jet Star Plane, a DART Bus, and others. More boats, another airplane, motorcycles, and a grain silo painted like a space capsule round out the menu of playful quarry attractions, offering divers hours of enjoyment and underwater photographers a wide variety of unusual backdrops.

Are you making plans to dive in Cozumel, Hawaii, or any other exotic spot? Come to Athens for your certification! The Athens Scuba Park offers many instructional classes and even a few diving trips!

The Park also offers a full-service, fully-stocked dive shop with complete dive gear; RV hookups; a heated pool and hot tub; and rinse stations.

Lake & Park Hours:

Friday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (No Friday camping or entry after 5:00 p.m.)
Saturday & Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Shop Hours:

Friday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Camping and Night Diving on Saturday evenings ONLY. Entry after 5:00 p.m. MUST be confirmed by Dive Shop. NO late entry after 8:00 p.m.

Daily Fees

Divers: $15 (must have C-Card)
Non-Diver Entry: $5.00 (includes swimmers, snorkelers, and watchers)
Camping: $5.00/night
Night Diving: $5.00/diver

Camping and night diving on Friday and Saturday only, please. Entry after 5:00 p.m. MUST be confirmed by Dive Shop. Please, NO late entry after 10:00 p.m.
