Keep Athens Beautiful will host the annual Home and Garden Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Cain Center in Athens, TX.
The Cain Center's Multipurpose Room will be transformed into a marketplace for those looking to remodel or decorate their homes or landscape their yards.
Come and visit with vendors about your remodeling project or get ideas about how to landscape your yard. Mini-workshops will be offered on topics such as organic gardening, container gardening and improving your curb appeal. Door prizes will be given out throughout the day.
This event is free for the public to attend.
Organically Speaking, with Rebecca Miller, will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Cain Center. Enjoy a fabulous meal and hear former TV news meteorologist Rebecca Miller speak on the benefits of living organically. Miller, a master gardener, co-hosts "Living Natural First" on WBAP radio.
