The Cain Center sits nestled in the heart of the beautiful, 85-acre Cain Park, surrounded by beautiful oaks and pines. On the grounds you will find tennis courts, fishing ponds, and a walking-jogging trail. The Cain Center has served all of East Texas, both as a civic center offing 14,500 square feet of meeting space, and as a fitness center with its many exercise areas. The Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center was opened in 1996 by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department to serve as an educational and entertaining nature center and as a state-of-the-art hatchery. The Henderson County Regional Fair Park Complex is located three miles east of downtown and sits on 68 acres. The complex consists of a coliseum, multi-purpose building, two covered arenas, one outdoor arena, two large barns with stalls, RV hookups and more.
